not sure how i felt about this one. i liked it a lot when i was reading it but i always struggled to pick it back up after putting it down. nevertheless, it feels very relevant to our age of overlapping apocalypses.

i think perhaps only reading this on the train over the course of most of a year is not actually the best way to absorb this dense and dry hunk of text, but it's still got some really fascinating ideas in it! i'll try to read the second volume more expediently.
