As interesting as it is incomplete.

I probably don't need to say much about the Picatrix, sort of a go to for astrological magic and talisman making. I think its important to recognize it as a compendium of techniques, almost like a survey of how to cook in different cuisines. It can be easy to muddy one's understanding if this is not kept in mind.

I use this daily, and the inclusion of the Taylor translation in the back is a big bonus. I find Dunn's translation to be my favorite, but I'm wondering if perhaps Taylor's might be more magically useful, at least for me. Currently experimenting with this. There are a few other translations out there, but none of them worked for me, they all felt dead in my mouth.

Having come to magic from writing, I'm always interested in seeing how others use writing magically. This is definitely one of the more interesting and thorough books on this topic.

The Mercury of Venus call in this book is a go to Glamour spell.

I think "advanced" is a bit of an overstatement, but definitely beyond what you will find in most planetary magic books.

The specific format reminds me a lot of what Austin Coppock did in the electional part of 36 Faces.

Excellent text going, and perhaps better than the primary sources, as Warnock's insights have allowed him to correct a possibly dangerous error caused by textual corruption of earlier sources.

There's more here than is outright said, and I've found it to have given me some of the most profound astrological insights of any text I've read.

This is an excellent introduction to astrology and planetary magic for the purposes of Talisman making. Very well paced with both citations from traditional sources, and commentary from a contemporary practitioner at the top of the field.

Very Golden Dawn influenced, which is not a big thing for me, but I found some of the thoughts on dream journaling surprisingly useful.

Great translation of a classic.

While slightly modern, in the sense that it makes use of the outer planets, this is one of the more comprehensive texts on astrological physiognomy out there. It is fairly straight-forward to sort out the outer planet parts in order to make use of the text.

One of the best books out there on understanding the concept of paradigm from a non-practitioner. It also provides a good understanding of the way societal paradigms collapse from complexity.

This is a worthwhile book on the topic of glamour magic, one that does a good job of showing the combination of mundane and magical means to achieve goals.

Perhaps two of the greatest benefits I find from this text, are not necessarily the ones by which it is clearly advertising itself. The first being the deeper considerations of the moral philosophy of magic that will eventually come to any thoughtful practitioner of social magic. The other benefit, is understanding this sort of magic helps inoculate to those that abuse it, helping one to better see through the glamours of others.
