Encore un livre dont le film adapté est bien différent. Pour le coup, j'ai détesté le film, ayant lu le livre avant. Le livre est très sympa, je recommande.
The title novel, I Am Legend, is great; I would easily give it four stars, and perhaps even five. I found the short stories appended to the novel to run the spectrum between decent and terrible. They get better as they go. A few rely on complete sexism to invoke any feeling or horror ("Witch War") and some are so concerned with Hemingway-like objectivity that they are honestly inexplicable ("Buried Talents"). The last three or four stories are good, though I personally am led to believe Matheson was a master of novel writing, and not so much at short story writing.
